“Without farmers, there is no bread,”
as one saying goes. And so that the field is always tilled, a farmer is sharpening his scythe. Next to him, another farmer is wiping sweat from his brow. He had to dig some holes and furrows to plant cuttings and seeds in the soil. A small child accompanies him at work. The farmer’s daughter is sowing by hand. To this end, she is scattering the seeds in her basket across the field. The farmer next to her helps by raking a little soil over the seeds so that the birds don’t pinch them again. And since the farm has been family-run for several generations, Granny shouldn’t be missing either. She is sitting in front of the door knitting socks so that nobody has cold feet this winter.
