Aside from round bales, WIKING continues to add the increasingly more prevalent rectangular bales to the product selection. Compared to their round counterpart, square-shaped bales are substantially easier to stack in day-to-day harvesting, offering the distinctive advantage of space-saving storage. The width and height of rectangular bales can range, respectively, between 80 cm to 1.2 m and 50 cm to 1.30 m. Since the compression of the harvested goods shaped into rectangular bales is greater, the weight of these bales is higher than that of round bales. This is why a front loader is the preferred means to load or transport square bales in view of their increased weight and expansive dimensions.
