The headlights behind glass – this stylistic device gives the pointed body shape even more elegance. That is exactly what the Italian roadster deserved, and what its fans loved. With the design of the 87-fold miniaturised Alfa Spider, WIKING has consciously prescribed a new design vocabulary – the details are intricately reproduced. The open convertible design of the prototype built between 1966 and 1969 allows the true strengths of the wonderful sports car with Italian blood to really shine. And with 87 or even 109 HP, the Spider used to be really quick off the mark. Anyone who today takes a glance at the miniaturised cockpit can experience the typical Alfa interior aura with WIKING. The dashboard engravings have two large round elements, but there is also a transmission tunnel with gear lever and handbrake. The two front seats lack the headrests – true for the era – and the rudimentary emergency seat is located behind. That’s right – a modern classic with Italian vehicle esprit.
