For many years, it was the “watch dog” of the Berlin fire brigade. When it came to local journeys close to the fire station, the firemen could quickly jump in and drive off in the enclosed Westfalia cab. The traditional model makers, who have long sought and found their prototypes with the Berlin fire brigade, are now able to put the most recent Unimog in the programme into official service.
