Description:
First as a box semi-trailer and then as a solo box truck: WIKING lets the Henschel cab-over-engine roll up in the colours of the Union forwarding company. The fleet operated by Union Transport was used for a wide range of transport jobs on German roads and could be trusted to deliver their cargo reliably for many decades - especially over long distances. The Henschel twin axle is a representative of the cab-over-engine era that the lorry makers from Kassel initiated in the middle of the 1950s. The original could be found at the forwarder’s depot in Düsseldorf.

Red cab, anthracite grey lower part of the cab. Interior dust grey. Chassis with wheel rims and fenders anthracite grey. Headlamps hand-painted silver, indicators orange. Radiator grille with silver Henschel lettering and Henschel star. All-around decorative strips below and above the windows imprinted in silver. Front of the driver's cab with white lettering “Union-Transport”. Superstructure with red box and white roof. Rear fenders and wheel rims anthracite grey. Side box trunk imprint with “Union” lettering and reference to “Transport-Betriebe (transport operations)” in white typography with black shadowing.
