Description:
What would construction sites in Germany’s Ruhr region have done without these colossal high-side tippers? Emil Bölling used to dispatch this generation of cubic tippers to haul away loads weighing several tonnes. The original of the Mercedes-Benz high-side tipper is deemed among the first cab-over-engine vehicles, which at that time first had to clear up prejudices on German construction sites. Just like at WIKING, construction companies throughout the Federal Republic of Germany preferred the Hauber. This bastion was only gradually broken down, allowing the cubic series, too, to provide helpful persuasion. Subsequent generations of the Mercedes-Benz also profited from this, of course. WIKING is completing yet another cycle of contemporary models fashioned after prototypes found in the multi-faceted fleet operated by Bölling. Driver's cab with upper and lower part, high-side tipper with tailgate narcissus blue. Chassis, cardan part and wheel rims carmine red. Carmine radiator grille with large inserted Mercedes-Benz logo and ornamental trim imprinted silver. Bumper with front fenders in carmine. Interior olive-brown. Headlamps hand-painted in silver. Driver’s cab with carmine central belt, tail lights imprinted red. Red-white company sign “Emil Bölling” on the doors of the driver’s cab. UPC: 4006190673105
