Description:
It was the time in post-war Germany when urban building yards began to upgrade their equipment - the Unimog 411 in the warning orange of those years was commonly found among the vehicles of this nascent age. They usually ran for many years and were still traversing the roads in the seventies. By that time, the red and white diagonal warning stripes had long become one of the most distinctive design elements. The Boehringer prototype, which was later to become a legend under the moniker of Unimog, was first introduced at the DLG exhibition held in 1948. The Boehringer brothers waited no longer than March of 1949 to start volume production of this tractor unit for agriculture and forestry in Göppingen. In 1951, production was moved to the Gaggenau, which served as a Unimog location for decades after Daimler-Benz took charge of the model family.

Open cab as well as chassis and cardan part pastel orange. Row of seats slate grey, steering wheel black. Flatbed insert and wheel rims pastel orange. Radiator grille imprinted with silver Mercedes-Benz star. Bonnet with Unimog lettering and ox head. Also, red and white diagonal warning stripes imprinted at the front and the rear. Transparent window portion with black-grey frame and central bar.
