Kit. Prototype data: In April 1985, GOTTWALD company introduced the most powerful telescopic crane worldwide called AMK 1000-103. The 10-axle mobile crane is powered by a MERCEDES-BENZ diesel engine with 425 kW/615 HP. 9 axes are steerable. The shipping weight is approx. 100 t. The superstructure is also driven by a MERCEDES-BENZ diesel engine with 186 kW/253 HP. The crane device consists of the crane body with directly installed cylinders. The separately transported telescopic boom consists of the basic boom and 3 telescopic booms. The spool height is about 62 m. Max. payload 1,000 t. Therefore, 140 t balance weight is needed. The prototype was installed at RIGA company in Mayence. The biggest mobile crane used on streets was registered in the Guiness Book of Records in 1986. Fitting lattice top item 10440.
