At the end of the sixties, no one could conceive that there would be a Telekom corporation one day - the postal telecommunications service was handled by civil servants, and the postal office was considered a reliable agency. Back then, the double cabin model of the VW T2 was ubiquitous in the Federal Republic and travelled the roads on official business for many years. The all-round transporter hauled the technicians of the telecommunications service, primarily to establish and service telephone extensions of companies and households. WIKING is presenting the “Bulli” with the agency vehicle design it flaunted back then. The VW T2 has always been viewed as a classic in the transporter world. WIKING fans can seamlessly fit the telecommunications service “Doka” into the postal theme, which could not be more multifaceted on the 1:87 scale.
